Dosage and direction

- Administration: Tear open the sachet and squeeze the entire contents directly into the mouth. The jelly should be swallowed without water. It is designed to dissolve rapidly on the tongue and oral mucosa.

Contraindications
Tadalista Super Active is absolutely contraindicated in the following scenarios:
- Concomitant use of any form of organic nitrates (e.g., nitroglycerin, isosorbide mononitrate or dinitrate) or nitric oxide donors in any form. The concomitant administration can lead to a severe, life-threatening drop in blood pressure.
- Concomitant use of guanylate cyclase stimulators such as riociguat (Adempas®), as this also potentiates the hypotensive effects.
- Patients with a known hypersensitivity to Tadalafil or any of the excipients in the formulation.
- Patients with severe cardiovascular instability, including hypotension (BP < 90/50 mmHg), uncontrolled hypertension, or recent history of stroke, myocardial infarction, or life-threatening arrhythmia.
Possible side effect
Like all potent medications, Tadalista Super Active can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Most are mild to moderate and transient.
- Very Common (≥1/10): Headache, dyspepsia (indigestion).
- Common (≥1/100 to <1/10): Flushing (feeling of warmth, redness), back pain, myalgia (muscle aches), nasal congestion, dizziness.
- Uncommon (≥1/1,000 to <1/100): Visual disturbances (blurred vision, changes in color perception), nausea, vomiting, gastroesophageal reflux.
- Rare (≥1/10,000 to <1/1,000): Priapism, syncope (fainting), tachycardia (palpitations), hypotension.
- Very Rare (<1/10,000): NAION, sudden hearing loss, seizures.
Drug interaction
Tadalafil is primarily metabolized by the CYP3A4 enzyme system. Concomitant use with other drugs can significantly alter its plasma concentration.
- Nitrates: Absolute contraindication. (See Contraindications).
- Alpha-adrenergic blockers: (e.g., doxazosin, tamsulosin). Concomitant use can lead to symptomatic hypotension. A separation of several hours is recommended, and the alpha-blocker dose should be stable.
- Potent CYP3A4 Inhibitors: (e.g., ketoconazole, itraconazole, ritonavir, clarithromycin). Concomitant use increases Tadalafil exposure. A dose reduction of Tadalista Super Active is strongly recommended (e.g., maximum 10 mg in 72 hours).
- Antihypertensives: Tadalafil may potentiate the blood-pressure-lowering effect of other antihypertensive medications.
- Alcohol: As noted in Precautions.
Missed dose
Tadalista Super Active is not intended for chronic daily dosing. It is an on-demand medication taken prior to sexual activity. Therefore, the concept of a “missed dose” does not apply. Do not take an extra dose to make up for a missed one. Simply take the next dose when needed, ensuring at least 24 hours have passed since the last administration.
Overdose
In the event of a suspected overdose (ingestion of more than the recommended single dose), standard supportive measures should be employed. The primary expected manifestations would be an extension of the drug’s known vasodilatory effects, including severe headache, profound hypotension, syncope, and potentially cardiac complications.
- Action: Seek immediate emergency medical attention.
- Treatment: Management should include cardiovascular monitoring and support, including placing the patient in the Trendelenburg position (head down) and administering intravenous fluids. Hemodialysis is not expected to accelerate clearance as Tadalafil is highly protein-bound.
Storage
- Store in the original packaging (sachet) at room temperature (15°C to 30°C).
- Protect from light and moisture.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- Do not use after the expiration date printed on the sachet.
